Question :

I went to the market and forgot my purse at home so I didn’t had any money .

I met 2 friends on the way and took loan 1000 from 1st and 500 from 2nd .

I lost 1000 and from 500 I did shopping of 300 .

From the rest 200 I returned 100 to each friend the total loan left is 900+400=1300 and I shopped for 300 .

So 1300+300=1600 how come ?

Answer :

1300 + 300 = 1600 is wrong calculation , as 300 he spent on shopping

Now as 900+400 = 1300 and 1300-300(for shopping) = 1000.

So total of 1000 is his loss and it is the money he lost.
